Prof. Peter Stone, a top expert in machine learning, multiagent systems, and robotics, is the founder and director of the Learning Agents Research Group (LARG) within the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at UT Austin, as well as associate department chair, chair of Texas Robotics, and President of the International RoboCup Federation. He was a co-founder of Cogitai, Inc. and is now Executive Director of Sony AI America. Dr. Stone is also the founder and leader of the 11-time world champion UT Austin Villa Robocup teams and a co-founder of the 4-time world champion CMUnited robot soccer team.
